1982 toyota 4x4 short box 4x4 for sale.

Needs work but can function as a daily driver.

A lot of work has been done with less than 1000 kms use.

Trail gear front leaf spring hanger
6 new ears were put on to mount leaf springs.
new rear cross member
patch on inside frame rail gas tank location on each side
bare frame sand blasted and painted black.
All welding done professionally
Transfer case drive line emergency brake
Galvanized gas tank
Brass radiator
front diff armor and gusset
rear diff armor
dust shield eliminator rings
complete new brakes
procomp 4 inch lift
reese trailer hitch
fresh exhaust no cat but a great condition cat is included
floor boards patched. back wall of cab patched
brand new fiberglass box sides included but not installed
rear drive shaft shortened 1 3/4 inches and then sent to pats drive line for inspection and balancing
wheel alignment
fresh aftermarket tailgate
round head light swap (i can swap it over to chrome square head light or grey square head light)
original windshield
lots of power, all lights work, entire wire hiring harness is stock and clean.
trail gear drive shaft flanges on end of trans and t case.
Frame is so clean, has all the factory rubber plugs in it.
Fires right up and drives fine.

So that is the good but there is still a lot of work to be done to make this a nice truck.

Front diff is a v6 456 diff. Rear diff is a 410 4 cyl third.

A 456 v6 third that needs new bearings is included. a 410 4 cyl third diff is also included if desired.

vehicle has had the rear factory proportioning valve for the brakes removed, a after market proportioning valve should be installed.

When the dust cover eliminator rings went on the mount for the front brake lines was deleted so they are currently supported with a zap strap.

Rear brake line is supported with a zap strap as well because the line is 1 inch too long for the mount.

there is no front drive shaft. but a factory drive shaft and a second gen drive shaft are both included
but they need work.

Drivers side door lock does not work

Transmission cross member is held up with only 4 bolts instead of 8. the 4 inside ones broke off.

A vibration is felt from the rear when accelerating at certain rpms i have tried to have it resolved but so far it has gotten a lot better but is still present.

No carpet in the truck, water leaks in from some where. radio is stock but speakers are expired.

I have driven the truck around the sunshine coast roughly 1000 kms and put in 5000 dollars to get to this point and i am looking for someone to take over this truck from me and put the extra money it needs to be a good truck.
