97 Ford Explorer in Surrey, BC

Seller note:

This is my 1997 Ford explorer for sale, by owner. It is a good running aircared driveable vehicle for under 2000$ but it is not perfect, if it was I would be selling it for much more than this.

Good:
it has just short of 239 thousand kilometers
Runs well
4x4 works in all settings (high and low) auto is rwd which is also working fine
Aircared till 2014
Mp3 capable (tape to aux adapter included because my new car does not have a tape deck)
Power windows (all working) Power locks (front doors are not working)

Bad:

It has minor rust spots on parts of the body and the under body
Could use brakes soon
Front doors don't lock
Check engine light is on (oxygen sensor) I had the spark plugs, wires and coil along with a few other things done at a mechanic shop recently
Blend door isn't working or actuator not sure which one

all in all you can have a running aircared drivable truck for 1200$ if you have knowledge in auto repair or have a connection with someone that does it would be a good truck to repair and drive for a while.

I bought it in december to get to work and back and have been driving till last week when I bought my new car it has never let me down and changed my perspective on Fords I would like to keep it for next winter but my parents say it needs to go because there is nowhere to store it
