This is a 1965 Chevrolet Corvette 327/365 horsepower Roadster. We acquired this car several years ago for one of our clients from an elder female owner from California and she had owned this car for 25 years and we have the registration with the California vanity blue plates to prove it. This was her corvette from a his and her pair and she loved this car and pampered it like a true corvette lover does. The exterior is finished in the original color of Nassau blue and complimented with a black interior and a white convertible top. This car has all the right stuff to make any corvette lover drool, such as a high revving solid lifter small block, 4 speed transmission, side pipes, true knock off wheels, convertible top and one of the best color combinations available!!! This car has a 327 cubic inch 365 horsepower solid lifter motor and backed by a 4 speed Muncie transmission. Unfortunately the block is not the original one to the car and it was changed previous to the last owner of 25 years, but it is a correct casting vintage block and has the original manifolds, carburator, intake manifold, air cleaner, shielding and valve covers. The heads are from a 1968 corvette. We have just gone through this car and it is as solid as can be with a very dry and clean undercarriage as you would expect on an original California car. The paint and body are in very nice shape and shows very well, but there are a handfull of blems in the paint, mostly a few smalls cracks in the paint from which is common if the fibreglass is not perfectly prepped before paint. It still shows very well and this is a car that you can be proud to stand next to any major corvette event or car show. The interior and top are in very nice condition. All the gauges work well and overall the fit and finish is very good and pride of ownership shows both inside and out. Mechanically this car is an absolute joy and puts one big smile across your face no matter if you are doing 10 mph or 100 mph. Not only does it run and drive exactly like it should.
