I am the second owner (in Canada) of this amazingly versatile vehicle. It was imported from Japan not too long ago and designed with legendary Subaru Quality. It has served me very well for the short time I have owned it. The only reason I am selling is my commute to work has changed and involves a lot more freeway driving, for which the van was not designed. (Japan is very small remember). It can go freeway speeds no problem, but it revs quite high.
This vehicle is the perfect van for around the city or on the island where your driving distance isn?t too long. It is nearly 2 feet shorter than a Honda Civic and over a foot shorter than a Mini Cooper. This thing will fit into almost any parking spot and it turns on a dime. It would be great for snow or slick roads, as it is all time AWD. No buttons to push or hubs to lock.
This vehicle has 107,000 km on a 660 cc multi port fuel injected, supercharged 4 cyl gas engine that is economical on gas. It starts up right away and makes very little noise, as it?s mounted in the rear of the vehicle. It is connected to a 5 spd standard transmission with extra low gear. (Driving standard with a right hand drive vehicle is no problem! Give it a half hour and you will be used to it.)
You can do so many things with this van. It is very tall inside and has lots of room for passangers etc. Cargo space is HUGE for the overall size of the van. You can fold down the rear seats and sleep comfortably in the back. Or you can remove the rear seats completely and have even more space! The front seats can turn around and face the rear if you want. It has privacy curtains and seat covers in the rear.
The van has a great heater and also has an auxilary heater in the rear for those cold days! It also has air conditioning, however it does need a re-charge. The van also has sun roofs for 2/3 the length of the vehicle. The front one pops up and the one behind is powered to open to one of the biggest sunroofs I have ever seen! That being said it has great visability. It has convex side mirrors, so blind spots are almost non existant.
Recently this vehicle has received:
-brand new DOT tires, DOT approved headlights (with daytime running lights) and reflectors, new battery, new alternator, new oxygen sensor, new air filter, recent oil change. Also a new camshaft and rocker arms (1600$ job) from Japanoid as the old parts were worn out! The brakes are in good condition and are very strong.
The interior is great, you can sleep in the back or carry 4 people. No rips or tears. Electric door locks, sliding glass sunroof, lots of leg room. This vehicle has it all! The outside has a few scratches here and there, but no rust.

The only problem is currently it doesn't pass air care. The vehicle burns no oil and runs clean and very well. It has high Hydrocarbons therefor most likely needs a new catalytic converter.
