1989 FORD MUSTANG LX HATCHBACK 5.0L V8
Car has lots of potential, but does need work, particularly strut towers need to be plated, the torque boxes need to be fixed, needs new rear shocks, alternator(it is a new alternator just needs voltage regulator e bay item under 15 bucks), tires(it's a mustang..), has a dent in hood and passenger front fender, body and paint was re-done in 2002 I believe, so door pillars, doors, rear quarters are mint!! there is 2 small holes in drivers rocker panel, could be patch welded or replaced, the car has a large high flow K&N cone filter, aftermarket Tach, Eibach lowered springs, new high flow fuel pump last yr, new fuel tank 3 yrs ago, new belt, tensioner & alternator start of last yr(alternator burnt again), new front wheel bearings and rotors, new ball joints, tie rods, rack n pinion replaced in 04, etc. some front end parts are still in box not installed... Engine runs VERY STRONG NO SMOKE OR HESITATION !! it does have a 2.5"Flowmaster off road H pipe, therefore it has no cats, it also has no O2sensors runs a lil rich but if you put some in you will get even more power from this car.. I'm sure i'm forgetting more stuff this is a great project with awesome payoff's, if you know Mustangs this is the one to make money on, I have no time to put into this car, and have another project i need to finish, so in order to do so i must let my baby go....
