I have a 1985½ Porsche 944 for parts or possibly repair
It has a 4 cylinder 2.5L engine with a 5 speed manual transmission.
The floor is starting to rot in a few spots but there are a lot of good spots underneath the car still.
- All the glass is intact and in great shape.
- The wheels are also in great shape, they are the "phone dial" style wheels
-The vehicle was not driven a lot while we had it, but it was a salvage vehicle that was repaired.
-Engine hasn't ran in a while now but there were no problems with it when it was parked, it just doesn't start from sitting.
-Transmission should also be good.
-The odometer says 59,000 Miles. It is innacurate. It has less kilometres on it but the dash is american and was installed years ago to replace the wrecked one.
-Something interesting to know about these Porsche's is that the engine is in the front and the transmission is in the back which provides a 50/50 weight distribution.
This is the 1985½. There is a difference. Midway through 1985 this style was released which included interior changes (dash & door panels), "phone dial" wheels, and more.
