70mpg Hybrid 2000 Honda Insight Getting ~ work done in Aylmer, ON

$3,200

Seller note:

NOTE: Price going up to $4700 getting used tires, clutch, transmission, cargo bin, hatchback struts, window control module, misc under panel, original sterio installed on the car and will put the price up by $1500. This will be a real deal at $4700 considering I am getting 70mpg on a tank. So first one to put $500 down on the car it is yours. I have the money set aside to do the work and I just bought a 2008 Honda CBR 125R motor cycle to drive when the car is sold. So come and get it.
JULY20: I am averaging 70.2mpg-us on my current tank and have 1121.2km on that tank.
$3200 There are a number of thing than need to be taken care on this car but for $3200 and considering it is currently doing 77.4mpg-imp on the current tank of gas (I am at 504.5 miles) I feel like this car is priced fair.
So with the cost of gas going up this is a good car to get.
I am currently getting 70.2mpg-us or 77.4mpg-imp on this tank and I got 105mpg over 15 mile drive on a drive from Aylmer to the 401. Most I have gotten from a 40 liter tank is 1205km.
This car typically goes for $6k to $8k depending on the mechanical, hybrid battery, and cosmetic shape it is in.
The issues with this car are as follows. No stereo, hybrid battery is doing recalibrations and needs to be put on a grid charger for rebalancing -- http://99mpg.com/Projectcars/mimapackwhack/ I will be doing this when I get my charger which I have given a verbal order for http://99mpg.com/Projectcars/gridcharger/faqaboutthecharger/, no AC -- ac has leaked out and needs to be repressurized, I had some water problems on the passagers side but seems like a fixing the window cleared that up?, there is 1 or 2 plates that cover the bottom of the motor missing, there are plastic wheel wells that are missing, there are no speakers in the doors, there is a small cigerate burn on the drivers seat, the hatchback air cylinders don't keep the hatchback up any longer, the transmission is loud in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gears but works fine other than that, the tires are just about done, there is a ding on the edge of the drivers door but it closes just fine (minor), the motor compartment was sprayed with anti-rust so it is sticky, it is due for a oil change ($51), and the cover for the tire on the back is missing and there is a piece of plywood in its place. Far as I can remember that is every thing.
NOTE:
I just got a quote for 4 LRR (low rolling resistance) tires (Bridgestone RE92 78S), Cargo Bin, Clutch (71k miles), Manual Transmission (71k miles), pair of Hatchback struts, window control module, misc under panel, original sterio, all installed. I will be sending my car down to the states to get this all installed. There is some kind of an oil leak that will get fixed. I have having the big speakers behind the seats remove and stock speaker put back in the door. The wiring from the amp that was under the seat removed. Getting the water lead problem that has fixed its self check out. Getting the ding on the side of the door hammered out. And will be spraying the undercoating that is in the engine department off. Getting an oil change done this week also $51.
The only issues left will be the AC, and the odd recal on the hybrid battery (was replaced with the 2005 hybrid battery and is strong. When these things get done the price will go up to $4700. I am getting a guy I know in the US that is an avid Honda Insight guy to do this work for me. So I am adding to the price of the car the cost and perhaps a bit more to get this work done. He says the mileage is amazing which means the engine and battery are doing very good to get this kind of mileage. For the $4700 price the car will be sold with safety.
I will take 2 hours with the buyer and show them how to drive this car and get the best mileage. I have a scanguage 2 that I will hook up on the car so you can see how to put the car into lean burn which is where you get the best mileage.
