Second owner, dealer serviced since new. Currently owned by a certified Toyota dealer Technician. Have service records and receipts. 5spd manual trans, solid rear axle with front locking differential. Comes with 2 sets of wheels, newer winter tires on OE steel rims for winter and all seasons on OE aluminum rims. Great on fuel. This car offers an amazing winter driving experience, its full traction all the time-full time 4WD. It is the ultimate car to get you to and from the mountain. This car will go anywhere you want to take it safely and reliably. These cars are getting rare and very rare to find in this condition. Car runs mint and does not consume oil. Car is super clean in and out and the interior is near mint.

I have owned this car for a little over 3 years and have done a pile of repairs and upgrades. The car has 278K on it but the mileage is basically irrelevant. In the 3 years I have owned I have put 100K on it, all highway as I used it as a commuter car for work between Black Creek and Campbell River. In the past 3 years the following work I have performed. Custom built dual core radiator with brass tanks, Timing belt with water pump cam and crank seals valve cover gasket. Alternator belt, power steering belt. Panhard bar bushings, rear shocks. All fuel lines replaced and reconditioned the fuel tank and installed new fuel sending unit. Entire exhaust system including manifold with updated OE part. A lot has been done to prevent corrosion issues, interior was totally removed and entire inside of shell was rust proofed with paraffin wax and underside of car was undercoated including rockers. Trans and diff fluids have been changed once a year since purchased. Brakes have been serviced and adjusted regularly but have not req replacement since I have owned it. Brakes are currently at 50-60% remaining. Clutch still feels great. Oil has been changed every 5K, I can prove it. Just put a new windshield in. Most repairs were done with OE parts. Comes with Alpine CD deck and Pioneer speakers. The only down about the car is it could use two new fenders soon, I wasn't able to prevent the rust there as it already had started before I got the car. The car is otherwise rot free. At one time I had a second one of these cars that was used as a spare parts car. I had to get rid of it as I had no place to store it so I dismantled it and scrapped the shell. I didn't get to use the parts as the car didn't need them but may someday. The following spare parts are included in the sale. Radiator with fan, starter, alternator, distributor, various sensors and actuators, all 4WD locker control parts including servos, vacuum switching valves, main switch. Various exhaust parts, C/V shafts, rear driveshaft assembly. Front struts and springs, front steering knuckles, calipers and rotors. Various interior trim including lights, door pins, inner and outer door handles, door locks, ignition. There are more parts I just can't remember what else is out in the garage.

It breaks my heart to finally let this car go to a new home. I have been very passionate about this car for a long time. Bottom line is I needed a truck, bought one and now this car gets very little use. Seems a waste to let it sit as much as I want to keep it. I want to find someone who will carry on with this car. I honestly must say this is the best car I have ever owned, it's so tough, it's just not practical for me anymore. Whoever buys this car will receive a set of Toyota factory repair manuals.
