1975 Lincoln Continental Mk IV in Langley, BC

$4,200

Seller note:

This Lincoln Continental Mark IV is a luxury car at the top end of the personal luxury car market in 1975. The Mark IV was a luxury monster that could be purchased for $11,082 in 1975 and was the lowest produced (47,145) and had the highest original purchase price of all the Mark IV's. The 1975 Lincoln Continental was the FIRST North American automobile (other than the Corvette) produced with four-wheel disc brakes. The Mark IV introduced the "opera window" to the Mark series, a feature that would become a Mark trademark until 1984. The Mark IVs were equipped with the 460 Cubic Inch Displacement Ford 385 series V8 engine. All model years were powered to the wheels with a C6 3-speed automatic transmission.

This vintage luxury automobile has a dark-blue leather interior in great condition. Both front seats are power adjustable. It is original down to the AM/FM 8-track entertainment system with power antenna. This classic is optioned with electric rear defog, locking inside hood release, locking spare-tire hold-down. It has been in storage for the past three years but starts, runs, and drives well. It has minor rust around the wheel wells but could be repaired inexpensively. I would say this beauty is a 9/10 for a thirty-eight year old car! It only has 109,000 miles. The car looks great... not a show car... but could be one with a little work...

It was last on the road in 2010. It has passed aircare the last time it went through but will need an updated aircare to insure it for the road. It was recently pulled out of underground secured storage after the owner passed away and somehow I ended up with it! It is a true classic automobile but I already have three vehicles insured and don't need another one on the road. I am open to reasonable offers.. Email me for more information. . .
