1990 Lotus Turbo Esprit SE(charge cooled model), 56000 original Kms. This is a Canadian market car and has a clean carfax. Red exterior on black leather interior. 264hp Turbo four, 0-60 in less than 5 seconds.
The car runs and drives excellent and has lots of boost. There are no engine warning lights or tell tale indicators . There are no signs of any oil or anti-freeze leaks. Car shifts well cold or warm, syncros seem fine. Always garaged, and adult owed and driven.
The exterior is 8 out of 10. Paint is excellent with only a few scratches and rock chips here and there. The interior has the normal Lotus trouble spots: hairline cracks in the instrument pod veneer, some minor wear on the middle arm rest and the plastic pieces around the door latches are cracked. I have new plastic pieces that will be included.
The car has been well cared for and comes with service records. This is not the complete service history, but most of the work over the last 10 years. Some of the major items that have been replaced are: timing belt, braided clutch line, A/C retrofit and recharge, rebuilt master and slave clutch cylinders, muffler, shocks, transmission output shaft seal, cam cover gasket and o-ring, sunroof clips and hardware. The charge cooler pump has been rebuilt as well. I have a receipt for a timing belt change, but not sure of the mileage. Tires are in great shape and have lots of tread. Cat bypass installed, but stock catalytic convertor is included.
Comes with complete factory service manual, owner's manual, car cover, sunroof bag, and stock spoiler.
The car does have a few issues. Power door locks work about 90% of the time. Windows work, but are slow to go up and down. The A/C does not work.
