How to obtain The Registration Papers:
1). Go the the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario Website and fill out the form below in quotations "", Make sure you have a valid credit card in your name and at least $12.00 available on it.
or search google for: "Certified Vehicle - Copies of Documents"
2). They will mail you back some documents regarding the vehicle including a form (the original application for the registration) and the last registered owners name and Ontario Address, in which case you will simply have to send a registered letter to the address requesting the registration (form) for the vehicle, no one will respond to the letter, so you will simply have to bring that letter and the original application for the registration into ICBC, or mail it to the MTO and they will mail you the registration. it's as simple as that !!
Alternatively they might simply request the transfer papers and the bill of sale (gift letter which I will write to you, you will also get the originals from vince to myself) and simply mail you the registration.
Please Note: You will have to pay $44 to the MTO for the Original Registration Papers, and the process takes 2-6 weeks. It is well worth it.
Thanks for looking !!
