1997 Ford Crown Victoria [not ex-police] in Vancouver, BC

$1,000

Seller note:

This vehicle was driven and insured on the island, hence it requires to be air cared in order to be insured on the mainland. It should pass aircare, but it's easy to insure a car on the island to avoid getting aircare.

The odo reads about 265,xxx km's

Mechanically this baby is sound! 4.8L V8, standard options
I took real good care of her, and she's never ever let me down!
The engine, nor the chassis, reflect the vehicle's age.
The kilometers are mostly highway since it was a vehicle on the island. It was brought to the mainland at the end of 2011 when I had to leave Canada on short-notice.

Pros:
-transmission and engine in top shape
-fluids always kept topped off, of superior quality
-filters always looked after and generously replaced
-tires are not heavily used, they were replaced not too long ago
-HUGE trunk space, and I mean HUGE! I shifted my entire stuff (living in a bachelor suite) in one haul, with the entire car packed with all my stuff
-belt, motors, pumps, they're all in healthy shape
-no matter what people say about american made vehicles, this beauty has been one I can always count on, day or night
-all power-function in full operation! (mirrors, windows, locks, etc.)
-AC blows cold, etc.
-just dropped in a new battery ($145, got the receipts)

Cons:
* driver side seat belt's clicker is not "clicking" (the spring's dislocated), but that's not a major problem since the front is equipped to seat 3 people, so there's an extra one.
* normal dings on the outside, nothing horrendous, a tiny bit of paint chipping off the rear bumper.
* the hinge for the passenger-side side-view mirror is loose, so sometimes it can require adjustment
