1981 BMW 320i in Victoria, BC

Very strong runner with a few issues, but nothing out of the ordinary considering it's age. Feels and drives like a much younger car! Very well maintained, with several mechanical systems being upgraded, not just repaired. It's been a great car, very fun to drive but I really need to buy a truck as I'm changing careers and need a work vehicle. I'm also adopting a couple dogs and a small coupe isn't the best for K-9's.

Most notable recent repairs/upgrades:
-Complete overhaul of braking system - brakes are now far stronger than stock, and are very powerful. New larger calipers, drums, master cylinder and stainless brake lines.
-New exhaust system (mandrel bent)
-Upgraded suspension with Bilstein sports, new bushings, ball joints, and steering components. Handles beautifully.
-Upgraded cooling system - has a more modern radiator and fan
-Upgraded ignition system
-BBS 15" Basketweave wheels with BG Goodridge Winter slalom tires (50-60% tread left)

-Included in sale is a large number of new performance parts and tune-up/maintenance parts that I just haven't got around to installing.

The bad:
It is smoking a bit at idle - white smoke.

The body could use some attention; there's nothing structural, just some very minor surface rust and a few dings here and there.

There are a few perks like the original bill of sale, BMW CB radio that shipped with the car, and a complete BMW tool kit mounted in the trunk.
