1984 Mercury Grand Marquis LS **Safetied until July22,2012** in Winnipeg, MB

Seller note:

I have a 1984 Mercury Grand Marquis LS for sale. Asking $1600
I Have my Certificate of inspection (COI) good until July 22, 2012.
To get the car insured all you need to do is take the TOD, COI and the bill of sale to MPI and get the vehicle registered and insured. there is a insurance broker 1 block away at the mall.
I need to sell the car before the 27th I did not renew my insurance so it expires then.
It has the 5.0L 302 v8 with the 2 Barrel Carb.
Duel Exhaust.
Power seats
Power locks/windows.
A/c needs to be recharged
Fun to drive.
The good:
Teensy bit of rust nothing major. - No frame rust or anything.
Newer battery
Newer alternator
Newer horn relay
New power steering pressure hose.
Full sized spare.
Newer cap, rotor and wires.
Good glass
Cheap to insure. - I paid about $80 per month with no merits.
The bad:
The Cylinder Head gasket is leaking. - They're cheap if you can do it yourself.
Needs all new exhaust. - I was quoted $500 for new custom exhaust that sounds nice.
May need a brake calliper on the front right tire - I was told it was seized but I have no problem with it.
Has a dent on the rear passenger side. - Was hit in a parking lot.
The head liner on the interior is coming off. - There's a $30 can of glue and a little work it will be fine.
The exhaust and brake calliper will need to be done before you need to safety the car again next July.
You could insure and drive the car in the meantime.
I just had this car safetied when I purchased it 2 months ago. I still have the safety sheet showing
exhaust and the brake is all that is needs. This car has never been in a major collision. - Just that dent.
This car is still insured and is being driven. Call to arrange a test drive.
